Diane Mettler - Since the day Diane first picked up a pencil, she's been writing. For almost 10 years she's been the editor of TimberWest Magazine, and has been responsible for all aspects of editorial to media kits. She also writes for companies like the Weyerhaeuser Company, handling projects that vary from writing web content to marketing materials. In addition, you can find her articles in magazines like enerG, dedicated to renewable resources. She is also the former editor/publisher of Artisan Northwest magazine.

Dedicated to communication, Diane teaches writing at Pierce College and Tacoma Community College, is a member of the Northwest Independent Editors Guild, and leads a Tacoma creative writer's group.


Chris Bivins has been a graphic designer and illustrator for over 25 years and has worked on a diverse array of communications and marketing pieces for a variety of clients, including Weyerhaeuser Company, Hosfeld and Associates, and Good Samaritan Hospital. He works in a number of different illustration styles, each perfectly matched to one of his multiple personalities. He wears a pith helmet while working to keep "alien" waves from infecting his brain.
